Thank you 4Culture for the 2008 Independent Projects Grant for PHASE I of SHADOWS! This grant will be used as seed money to support a new collaboration between Mik and dance choreographer Sonia Dawkins. The project will focus on women inside the Civil Rights Movement who lie in the shadows of history and will be presented using shadow dances inside a series of life-sized projected historic images.
